sorry man, can’t seem to find the notes. i’m sure it’ll show up somewhere. my apologies for not making the end of the promise. i’ll write up of what i remember. its mostly technique and a touch on theory.
Oh man, this seminar was pretty fuckin’ awesome. I was just about to give up on the rubber guard, right until Eddie came and demonstrated his system of jiu jitsu. Actually learning it from person, rather then a video and book, makes everything much more sense. Then the book can be a source of reference. Holy fuck am i going to practice these new moves i learned. The new move that isn’t included in the book that Eddie showed today is called the “double backer”. This is pretty cool. Its from crackhead control, or “Hastings” control somebody made a joke earlier in the seminar…lol, you do the invisible collar, and from there, you uncross the legs and hold onto the leg thats curling on the back. You then feed the front leg infront of your opponent, and from there you can do this crazy choke. I’m suprised that i havn’t seen or heard of this choke before, as this is my fourth year into studying jiu jitsu. Everything else that eddie showed is also in the book. He showed the spiderweb, touched on the jiu claw, crackhead control, invisible collar, armbar transitions from crackhead and mission pump, spiderweb transition from back and others that I may have not remembered. I’ll give this sytem a new try. Eddie is such a chill guy. Might be the result from all the weed that he smokes…

I am so stoked for this seminar. I missed out on my first oppurtunity to participate in his first seminar here and I almost missed out on this one. I’m looking foward to studying the twister and the rubber guard. I am still wondering to this day how eddie bravo bested royler gracie… doesn’t make any sense.
Teeps
notes: Keep upper body still to keep the teep subtle and stealthy.
comments: not much today. Training was lighter, same kind of warm ups, but a little easier. Great way to end of the weekday.
I shall no longer do weighted squats. it makes the legs too sore for training afterwards.
My shins are still bruised to the bone. I can feel it losing sensitivity. It stills hurt like a biatch.
just unbelievable…
